It particularly bothers me that women are held to a different standard on this (amount of sexual partners) front than men. Also it’s such a weird thing to care about. Like imagine if I started eating cheerios for breakfast, would cheerios be like “I’m the 48th cereal you tried eating!? I don’t feel special!” Well then screw you cheerios I can’t go into the past and un-eat all those cereals but that doesn’t mean I don’t genuinely enjoy your whole grain crunch. — John Green <3 <3 <3

I’ve been feeling a bit blah

but then I heard John greens response to why women are judged on the amount of sexual partners………It involved cheerios.  I love John Green!

I didn’t need you, you idiot, I picked you and then you picked me back

John Green, Paper Towns

This is maybe one of my favorite quotes ever because it sums up my attitude towards love and relationships.  Honesty.

Enough of that now, time to function like a normal person and watch a topical dvd looking indepth at a book i just read

I assume thats how normal people spend there Saturday nights after work

“I wanted so badly to lie down next to her on the couch, to wrap my arms around her and sleep. Not fuck, like in those movies. Not even have sex. Just sleep together, in the most innocent sense of the phrase. But I lacked the courage and she had a boyfriend and I was gawky and she was gorgeous and I was hopelessly boring and she was endlessly fascinating. So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking that if people were rain, I was a drizzle and she was a hurricane.”
